Thankful Thursday : Collecting Rocks

This past Tuesday, I drove to Watch Hill with my cousins and we spent the day at the beach. While we were there, we took a walk and did what any person would do; collect rocks. Collecting rocks is probably my favorite thing to do at the beach. And it got me thinking... No matter how old someone is, everyone can find the simple pleasure of walking on the beach and hunting for all different rocks. Big ones, small ones, flat ones, round ones, red ones, black ones, shiny ones, rough ones. Rocks are as unique as each person that collects them, yet everyone can find the joy of picking up a rock and see the beauty in it.

It's a simple thing, but I'm so thankful I live in an area where I can just drive to the beach and be able to walk on the shore... and collect rocks.

(PS- If you live near Watch Hill, RI... You should take a drive and check out the new Ocean House, it's GORGEOUS!)
